If you have 2 years Parts Manager experience in a Dealership this is the perfect career opportunity for you to join our Parts team and excel in a fast-paced environment. A dealership Parts Manager oversees the parts department, managing inventory, staff, and sales to ensure the service center operates efficiently and profitably. Role and Responsibilities A parts manager is responsible for maintaining a fully stocked parts department to support the dealership's service center and body shop.
Key duties include:
Inventory Management :
Ordering, tracking, and restocking OEM and aftermarket parts, as well as consumables like motor oil, brake fluid, and cleaning supplies, to prevent shortages and minimize obsolescence
Staff Leadership :
Hiring, training, motivating, and supervising parts department staff, including counter personnel, delivery drivers, and shipping/receiving specialists
Customer Service :
Assisting customers in finding the correct parts, handling special orders, and ensuring timely delivery
Financial Oversight :
Preparing and managing the department budget, setting pricing strategies, and analyzing sales and expenses to maintain profitability
Collaboration :
Working closely with service and body shop managers to ensure parts are available for internal jobs and supporting wholesale operations
Qualifications and Skills :
Strong organizational and communication skills Experience in automotive parts sales or management . Knowledge of inventory control systems and dealership operations Leadership abilities to manage a team and implement best practices in vendor management and departmental profitability
Pay:
$60,000.00 - $95,000.00 per year
