Job Description

Inventory Manager Clover Cannabis - Belmont, MA Position Summary The Inventory Manager is responsible for the daily management of inventory operations, compliance, product receiving, and inventory accuracy while serving as a key member of the dispensary leadership team. This position works closely with the General Manager to ensure operational excellence, proper staffing levels, labor management, regulatory compliance, and an exceptional customer experience. The Inventory Manager assists in scheduling, workforce planning, employee development, and overall store operations while maintaining accurate inventory records across all integrated systems, including METRC and Blaze. Inventory Responsibilities Report directly to the General Manager regarding inventory operations and dispensary needs. Accurately receive, process, and track all incoming inventory deliveries. Work collaboratively with the General Manager to ensure the inventory room and vault remain organized, clean, productive, and compliant at all times. Maintain inventory systems that support Clover Cannabis' high standards for compliance and audit readiness. Receive and verify all deliveries, ensuring product accuracy and compliance with state regulations. Maintain an organized and secure vault and inventory storage area. Provide operational support to dispensary leadership and staff regarding inventory management and product availability. Communicate effectively with management and team members regarding inventory concerns, discrepancies, and operational needs. Participate in company growth initiatives while helping maintain a positive, team-oriented work environment. Monitor, review, and properly document all inventory adjustments, transfers, and reconciliations. Develop and implement inventory control procedures and best practices to maximize accuracy and efficiency. Manage product returns, waste tracking, and destruction procedures in compliance with Massachusetts Cannabis Control Commission regulations. Maintain compliant storage and tracking of expired, damaged, recalled, or mislabeled products pending disposal. Maintain all required inventory logs, including sample tracking, display inventory, discrepancy reports, and transfer documentation. Assist with internal audits, state inspections, inventory investigations, and follow-up tasks to ensure complete compliance. Conduct regular cycle counts and full inventory audits as directed by management. Investigate inventory discrepancies and work with leadership to identify root causes and corrective actions. Ensure all inventory movements are accurately recorded in METRC and Blaze. Maintain strict compliance with all company policies, Massachusetts Cannabis Control Commission regulations, and security requirements. Qualifications Previous inventory management experience preferred, ideally in cannabis, retail, warehouse, pharmaceutical, or regulated industries. Experience working with METRC and/or point-of-sale inventory systems preferred. Strong organizational skills with exceptional attention to detail. Ability to analyze inventory data and identify discrepancies. Ability to lift and move inventory packages weighing up to 50 pounds. Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel. Strong communication and problem-solving skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
