Overview A well-established Durable Medical Equipment (DME) company is confidentially seeking an experienced Regional Operations Manager to support continued growth and operational expansion in the Kansas and Missouri area. This role is ideal for a proven operations leader who can build structure, develop local leaders, improve performance, and ensure consistent service execution across multiple locations. The preferred home base for this position is the Kansas City metropolitan area. The Regional Operations Manager will oversee operational readiness, logistics, dispatch, warehouse, inventory, fleet, compliance, quality, and staff development across the assigned region. What You Will Do Provide leadership and oversight for multiple DME operational locations within the assigned region. Coach, develop, and hold local operations leaders accountable for performance, communication, staffing, service quality, and compliance. Oversee logistics, delivery, dispatch, warehouse, inventory, equipment readiness, fleet, and service operations. Review operational reports, scorecards, KPIs, route performance, staffing patterns, inventory trends, and service issues to identify improvement opportunities. Support new market development, operational transitions, customer onboarding, facility launches, and regional growth initiatives. Ensure appropriate staffing, scheduling discipline, training, and management coverage across assigned locations. Partner with Purchasing, Warehouse, Customer Success, Quality and Compliance, Human Resources, and senior leadership to ensure strong cross-functional execution. Facilitate resolution of service issues, complaints, delayed orders, missed orders, property damage, safety concerns, and other operational escalations. Promote a culture of accountability, professionalism, safety, teamwork, confidentiality, and continuous improvement. Compliance, Quality, and Safety Support compliance with applicable ACHC standards and company policies related to logistics, service, warehouse activity, customer safety, and staff safety. Educate and hold operations teams accountable for applicable FDA, DOT, OSHA, oxygen-related, and state-specific requirements relevant to DME services and equipment. Collaborate with Quality and Compliance leadership on audits, corrective actions, performance improvement initiatives, incident follow-up, and policy implementation. Ensure company vehicles, equipment handling practices, warehouse processes, and field activities are performed safely and consistently. Qualifications At least 3 years of operations management experience required. Experience leading teams in logistics, distribution, field service, healthcare operations, transportation, DME, HME, or related industries required. Multi-site, regional, or market-launch experience strongly preferred. Bachelor's degree in Business, Operations, Supply Chain, Healthcare Administration, Logistics, or related field preferred. Strong leadership, coaching, communication, organizational, analytical, problem-solving, and project management skills required. Working knowledge of DME operations, delivery logistics, warehouse processes, service escalation, inventory control, and customer-facing field operations preferred. Valid driver's license, acceptable driving record, and ability to travel throughout the region required. $75,000.00 - $100,000.00 per year
