This role is essential in ensuring the efficient movement of goods, maintaining optimal inventory levels, and coordinating with various departments to meet customer demands. The ideal candidate will possess strong expertise in warehouse distribution, transportation management, supply chain analytics, and vendor relations. This position offers an opportunity to lead process improvements, enhance supply chain efficiency, and contribute to the overall success of our logistics operations. Duties Manage end-to-end shipping and receiving processes, ensuring timely and accurate order fulfillment. Oversee warehouse operations including materials handling, stocking, inventory management systems, and warehouse management systems. Coordinate transportation planning and freight logistics with third-party logistics providers (3PL) and internal teams. Utilize data analysis tools such as Tableau, SQL, Excel data analysis, and spreadsheets to monitor shipping performance and identify opportunities for process improvement. Lead procurement activities related to shipping supplies, freight negotiations, and vendor management. Ensure compliance with international trade regulations and trade compliance standards. Optimize warehouse distribution strategies by analyzing demand planning data and implementing category management practices. Conduct root cause analysis for shipping delays or discrepancies and implement corrective actions. Collaborate cross-functionally with procurement, production planning, customer service, and supply chain teams to streamline operations. Maintain accurate records of shipping & receiving activities, inventory control, and freight costs. Practice safety standards during manual handling operations such as forklift use and materials movement. Requirements Proven experience in warehouse management, logistics coordination, or supply chain operations roles. Strong knowledge of transportation management systems (TMS), ERP systems (such as AS400 or similar), and inventory management systems. Proficiency in data collection techniques, analysis skills using Excel (including Excel data analysis), SQL, and supply chain analytics tools like Tableau. Familiarity with procurement processes including sourcing, pricing strategies, vendor management, and negotiation skills. Experience with freight management, 3PL partnerships, shipping & receiving procedures, and international trade regulations. Ability to utilize warehouse experience in inventory control and stocking practices effectively. Demonstrated ability to lead process improvements within a logistics or warehouse environment. Excellent communication skills for cross-functional collaboration across global teams. Practicing in a supply chain operations role with a focus on continuous improvement is highly desirable.
