Materials Manager Brook Park, OH - 100% on-site $120-130k plus 10% bonus Position Summary The Materials Manager is responsible for the safe and efficient flow of materials through the plant, including material planning, receiving, warehousing, inventory control, internal material flow, and production supply. The role ensures material availability while maintaining inventory accuracy, controlling working capital, and improving material and warehouse processes. Key Responsibilities Lead material planning, inventory, receiving, warehousing, and internal material flow. Ensure materials are available to support production and customer requirements. Maintain inventory accuracy and control excess and obsolete inventory. Improve warehouse organization, storage utilization, and material flow. Ensure safe, efficient, and disciplined material handling. Lead and develop materials, warehouse, receiving, and shipping teams. Monitor key KPIs for inventory, material availability, warehouse performance, and working capital. Work with Production, Procurement, Planning, Quality, Finance, and Logistics to resolve material issues. Drive lean and continuous improvement initiatives. Ensure effective use of JDE, SAP, WMS, and other supply chain systems. Requirements Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Operations, Engineering, Business, or equivalent experience. 5-8+ years of experience in materials management, supply chain, logistics, or warehouse operations in manufacturing. Strong knowledge of material planning, inventory control, warehouse operations, and lean principles. Experience with ERP/WMS systems such as JDE and SAP. Proven leadership experience in a manufacturing environment. Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
