Job Summary:
The Terminal Manager oversees the day-to-day safe and successful operations of the Stanton, TX & Hobbs, NM terminals. This position supervises the daily operations of Hydrochloric Acid truck and/or rail terminal(s), including the safe and efficient loading/unloading and operation of railcars, tractors, storage tanks, or other container trailers transporting chemicals and or other products, and maintains records of shipments and inventory. Essential Duties and Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Environmental Health & Safety :
Coordinates Environmental Health & Safety compliance for the terminal and all employees including federally (OSHA, DOT, FRA) and Reagent-mandated training and documentation. Performs incident/accident investigations and documentation, taking appropriate action as necessary. Serves as
HAZWOPER
incident commander for emergency response 24/7.
Administrative/Staffing:
Supervises all terminal employees, including drivers. Review and approve all bill of ladings, pay tickets, timecards, and other employee pay forms. Completes monthly check-ins with drivers to review safety metrics.
Customer Service:
Assists dispatch, as needed, in daily planning of load activities to ensure all customer needs are met. Assists in scheduling of all terminal employees, including drivers, ensuring adequate staffing on weekdays/weekends to meet customer needs. Responds to unscheduled terminal and customer needs or requests, including during off hours, via telephone or in person, as needed. Makes periodic customer site visits with Reagent Sales. Ensures all QA and ISO procedures are in place and followed. Recommends additional equipment/assets to meet customer demand.
Cost Management:
Ensures terminal assets are maintained to ensure safe and efficient terminal operations. Reviews and approves all expenditures in compliance with Reagent policy. Recommend procedures and/or equipment for efficiencies and cost savings. Placement agencies should not reach out regarding candidates.
