Job Overview Join our team as a USPS Contractor | Non-CDL Straight Truck Driver and become a vital part of our delivery network! In this energetic role, you will be responsible for safely operating a box truck to deliver mail and parcels efficiently across designated routes. Your focus will be on providing exceptional customer service, adhering to traffic and safety regulations, and ensuring timely deliveries. Responsibilities Safely operate a non-CDL straight truck or van along assigned routes, ensuring timely delivery of USPS mail and packages Load and unload shipments using manual handling techniques, pallet jacks, or material handling equipment while following safe lifting practices Conduct thorough pre-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure it is in proper working condition and compliant with DOT regulations Adhere strictly to traffic laws, route schedules, and USPS delivery protocols to maintain efficiency and safety standards Provide excellent customer service by engaging professionally with recipients during deliveries and pickups Utilize mobile devices or GPS systems for route navigation, tracking deliveries, and reporting issues promptly Maintain accurate delivery logs, delivery receipts, and documentation as required by USPS procedures Experience Prior warehouse experience or familiarity with warehouse operations is highly desirable Proven delivery driver experience with box trucks. Knowledge of commercial driving regulations, including DOT (Department of Transportation) standards and heavy lifting safety practices Demonstrated ability to handle heavy loads safely while maintaining manual handling best practices Strong customer service skills with a professional attitude during interactions with clients and team members Ability to follow detailed instructions, route plans, and traffic regulations consistently Join us in delivering excellence! Pay:
$26.30 - $31.66 per hour
