Job Summary We are seeking a skilled Fleet Manager to oversee our company's vehicle fleet operations. The Fleet Manager will be responsible for managing all aspects of the fleet, including maintenance, scheduling, and compliance. We have a fleet of over 200 car haulers.

Essential Functions:

Act as the main point of contact for all fleet-related communication. Maintain a system to track all company owned fleet equipment. Ensure timely maintenance and repairs of fleet equipment. Create and maintain updated records of equipment repairs and inventory. Handle day-to-day responsibilities, including but not limited to daily communications, requesting and reviewing cost estimates, tracking equipment usage, purchasing, quality control, product management and field service. Evaluate existing and source new national, regional, and local sourcing programs to cut costs, reduce downtime and improve service levels. Drive cost savings through operational control and best practices. Develop and manage key vendor relationships to ensure availability of critical equipment materials and uninterrupted supply. Facilitate vehicle assignment to personnel, maintain data within Fleet Management Software, communicate vehicle availability to team members. Responsible for reporting and tracking updates. Be service-oriented with a positive attitude, interested in learning, technically-savvy and flexible.

Ensure DOT Compliance:

follow all DOT Rules and Regulations. Manage high volume of daily tasks, including incoming calls. Ensure prompt handling of required tasks. Perform other duties/special projects as assigned. Some travel may be required. Requirements Previous experience in working with a transportation management system (preferred) Analytical skills Mechanically inclined Ability to work within processes or develop more efficient frameworks Skills using Microsoft Office Products Must be flexible to handle multiple tasks in a busy environment Highly detail oriented with demonstrated organizational skills Requires good decision and problem-solving skills Must possess excellent interpersonal and communications skills with prior customer service experience
