Compensation and Benefits:
Wage range is $26.00 to $29.00

Position Summary:
The Warehouse & Transportation Coordinator is responsible for coordinating the end-to-end movement of goods from order receipt through final delivery, ensuring efficient, accurate, and compliant shipping operations. This position oversees key account order management, Advanced Shipment Notifications (ASNs), carrier scheduling and coordination, shipment tracking. The role serves as a link between the warehouse floor, transportation carriers, internal departments, and external customers, ensuring all orders are accurately documented, properly labeled, compliantly shipped, and delivered on time. This position reports directly to the Director of Logistics & Distribution and will work closely with the Warehouse Lead and the Warehouse Supervisor.
Primary Duties and Responsibilities:
Follow safety policies and protocols; alerting others regarding potential concerns.
Uphold highest standards of food safety and product quality through observance of allergen protocols, and Good Manufacturing Practices; promptly report food safety and quality issues as necessary
Manage Advanced Ship Notices (ASNs) for all key accounts, ensuring timely and accurate transmission on time.
EDI label processing (Electronic Data Interchange / SPS Commerce) in accordance with customer routing guides
Creating shipments and labels; verifying correct carrier assignments.
Schedule and coordinate pickup appointments with customer carriers, internal teams, and external vendors in alignment with delivery timelines and customer expectations
Coordinate daily transportation activities, routes, and load assignments; develop and maintain direct relationships with customer transportation networks, carriers, and their logistics partners
Monitor shipments to ensure on-time pickup and delivery; resolve transportation issues, delays, and customer concerns promptly
Track inquiries and update tracking reports; maintain communication with transportation carriers, clients, and warehouse staff
Make sure each order has all necessary paperwork attached in ProTrace and properly name all documentation
Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal transportation regulations; support safety initiatives and adherence to company policies Marginal Duties performed less frequently:
Assist with inventory control and maintenance
Other projects assigned as necessary
Qualification Summary:
Possess a positive attitude and work well with the Warehouse and Operations Team
Attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and documentation
Expertise in Microsoft Excel and data manipulation; working knowledge of Microsoft Outlook and Word
Proficiency with computers, inventory control systems, and order management platforms (ProTrace or similar)
Document Management - scanning, filing, tracking
Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities; strong organizational and multitasking skills Education /
Experience Desired:
Experience with EDI systems (SPS Commerce preferred) and Transportation Management Systems (TMS)
3-5 years of experience in transportation, logistics, warehouse operations, or a related role
High school diploma or equivalent required Language / Mathematical /
Reasoning Ability:
Must have fluent ability to understand, read, write, and speak English, clearly and effectively
Must be able to follow documented procedures, may be written in English only
Bilingual (English/Spanish) is an asset
Must be able to accurately document information in a timely manner and multi-task in a fast-paced environment
May be asked to use simple mathematic equations (Addition, Subtraction, Multiplication, Division)
Basic mathematical skills in weights, temperatures, times and general numbers
Supervision Given:
This position will report to the Director of Logistics and work with other department leaders
The position holder is expected to be able to work with minimal oversight at times, able to confidently handle situations on their own
