Coordinate daily driver schedules, routes, and remote shuttling.
Partner with warehouse leadership to ensure fleet availability.
Monitor driver performance, HOS, and route efficiency.
Resolve operational and delivery issues.
Maintenance & Compliance
Ensure DOT, FMCSA, and HOS compliance.
Coordinate preventative maintenance and repairs.
Review DVIRs and maintain compliance records.
Manage Samsara implementation and fleet monitoring.
Budget & Cost Control
Monitor maintenance, fuel, vendor, and fleet expenses.
Track cost-per-mile and asset utilization.
Identify cost-saving opportunities.
Manage flex labor and Uber bids based on business needs.
Driver Management
Recruit, hire, onboard, and train drivers.
Maintain driver records in Lytx and McLeod.
Monitor performance and conduct reviews.
Provide coaching and corrective action as needed.
Performance & Improvement
Track operational KPIs and fleet performance.
Identify opportunities to improve safety, efficiency, and costs.
Resolve issues and support continuous operational improvement.
Work EnvironmentPrimarily an operational environment supporting commercial drivers, warehouse operations, and fleet assets.
Regular interaction with drivers, warehouse leadership, maintenance providers, vendors, and other operational partners.
Work includes both office/computer-based responsibilities and interaction with fleet equipment and drivers.
May require occasional exposure to outdoor conditions, commercial vehicles, tractors, trailers, and maintenance areas.
Full-time position with a schedule based on operational and business needs.
Flexibility may be required to support driver dispatch, fleet operations, maintenance, and urgent operational needs.
QualificationsEducationHigh school diploma or equivalent required.
Additional education or training in transportation, logistics, fleet management, business, or a related field preferred.
CDL preferred.
ExperienceMinimum of 3-5 years of experience managing commercial fleets, drivers, and fleet assets.
Strong knowledge of DOT, FMCSA, and HOS regulations.
Experience with driver dispatch, fleet maintenance, compliance, and performance management.
Experience managing budgets, vendors, and fleet-related expenses.
Experience with driver hiring, onboarding, training, and performance management.
Computer/software knowledge, including Samsara, Lytx, McLeod, or comparable systems.
Knowledge of commercial tractors, trailers, vehicle inspections, and fleet maintenance.
