Job Description

Traffic Control Officer Event Partners Inc. | UNC Game-Day Operations Event Partners Inc. is seeking experienced Traffic Control Officers to assist with traffic management before and after UNC football and basketball games. This is a hands-on, event-based position working directly in busy intersections to help manage vehicle and pedestrian traffic and maintain safe, organized traffic flow around major sporting events.

Job Responsibilities:

Direct and control vehicle traffic at assigned intersections before and after UNC football and basketball games Assist with managing increased traffic volumes during event arrival and departure periods Follow established traffic-control plans and directions from event operations leadership Communicate effectively with fellow traffic-control personnel and event staff Help maintain a safe and organized environment for motorists and pedestrians Remain alert and responsive in fast-paced, high-traffic environments Represent Event Partners Inc. professionally while working with the public and event personnel

Requirements:

Previous experience performing traffic control in busy intersections is required Comfortable working directly in active roadways and high-volume traffic environments Ability to remain focused and make quick, sound decisions in changing traffic conditions Strong communication and situational-awareness skills Ability to stand and work outdoors for extended periods Reliable transportation and dependable attendance Must be available for select UNC football and basketball games
