We're looking for a hands-on Transportation Supervisor to lead the mixer driver team for our Nevada operations from the field, not from behind a desk. Paid Time Off (PTO) Paid Holidays Job Requirements This is a field role. You'll be at our Nevada plants and on job sites every day, working directly with drivers. A dedicated administrative coordinator will handle paperwork, scheduling systems, and reporting so you can focus on the people and the trucks. Lead, coach, and hold accountable a team of mixer truck drivers across multiple plants Interview and hire new drivers; participate in onboarding and ride-along training Enforce company safety policies and

compliance in the yard and on the road Conduct field observations, pre-trip inspection audits, and job-site safety checks Support drivers on active pours — troubleshoot truck placement issues, coordinate with crews, and step in when a job needs an extra set of hands Work with dispatch and plant managers on daily truck and driver deployment Investigate incidents, near-misses, and customer complaints; drive corrective action Monitor driver performance (safety, on-time delivery, yardage, truck care) and conduct reviews Coordinate with the shop on truck condition, downtime, and driver-reported defects Champion safety programs across the fleet Keep mixer trucks current under the NRMCA Truck Certification program and support plant certification inspections Build a culture where drivers show up, stay, and take pride in the work 5+ years in ready-mix concrete delivery or a closely related trucking operation; prior lead, supervisor, or trainer experience strongly preferred Valid Class CDL, clean MVR Working knowledge of DOT hours-of-service, pre-trip inspection requirements, and drug & alcohol program rules Understanding of concrete — slump, water addition, load times, discharge, and what goes wrong on a job site Able to communicate clearly and directly with drivers, plant crews, dispatch, QC, and customers Comfortable in a fast-paced, early-start environment; job sites, plants, and yards in Nevada heat Bilingual English/Spanish a plus
