Job Description:

The Transportation Coordinator is a full-time position reporting to the Lead Transportation Supervisor and supports nightly campus transportation operations by serving as the primary coordination point for drivers, students, and the Department of Public Safety ( DPS ). This role provides real-time operational direction for Fixed Route Shuttle Service and Safety Escort Service, schedule coordination, and resolution of service issues, while ensuring safe, efficient, reliable service delivery. Responsibilities include monitoring daily transportation activity, conducting vehicle inspections, completing operational audits, submitting maintenance work orders, and supporting ongoing communication, coordination, and problem-solving in a fast-paced operational environment.
