TOLL FOREMAN-WV PARKWAYS AUTHORITY-SEE POSTING
Two Positions Location of positions: Pax, WV (Fayette Co.) Could be Ghent (Raleigh Co.), Pax (Fayette Co.) or Chelyan Toll Plaza (Kanawha Co.) Eligible for
Overtime Hourly Rate:
$26.66 to $28.98 Essential Functions of the Job Directly responsible to the Plaza Supervisor, supervising toll collectors, resolving problems, making decisions in accordance with policies and procedures established by the Parkways Authority. Toll Plaza Foreman must meet all of the essential function requirements of a full time toll collector. Specific responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
  • Accurate preparation of daily records.
  • To administer and carry out the policies and regulations of the Parkways Authority, making sure everyone under your supervision is aware of and adheres to these regulations.
  • Assist in required training of all employees.
  • Preparation and distribution of collection sheets to supervisor and collector.
  • Make sure that all money from collectors has been counted and deposited at end of shift, check all appropriate paper work.
  • Maintaining a smooth and safe traffic flow.
  • Schedule daily work assignments for toll collectors.
  • Maintain supply inventories and distributions records.
  • Make daily lane/toll collector inspections.
  • Implementation of monthly Safety Training Program.
  • Periodic inspection of toll facilities and equipment.
  • Assist with reasonable custodial duties when custodian is not present.
  • Handle snow and ice control when custodian is not present.
  • Move traffic cones during center lane traffic change over.
  • Support, follow and promote requirements on plaza hours, occupational injuries, monthly safety meetings, customer complaints, ratings program and all other Parkway programs.
  • Maintain and present a good example.
  • Other duties as assigned.
  • High School Diploma / G.E.D required with three (3) years' experience as a toll collector (temporary, part time and full time status included).
  • Must be able to pass a background check.
