This role ensures all properties meet company quality standards while strictly upholding policies for field safety, equipment care, and accurate digital communication. Essential Responsibilities Direct and work alongside crew members to complete route tasks including detailed mowing, mechanical edging, pruning, seasonal cleanups, and debris management. Review daily property standards , specific client preferences, and safe work protocols with crew members before beginning each job. Proactively flag and document property challenges , irrigation breaks, safety hazards, or missed services to the Field Supervisor. Log and submit accurate field hours for the entire crew, tracking exact job codes and account data live using the Aspire App. Identify enhancement or upselling opportunities on active job sites and pass them along to the account management team. Train and onboard crew members in safe equipment handling, professional site conduct, and high-efficiency production habits. Decision Rights and Boundaries Owns daily task allocation, site workflow, and immediate field safety adjustments for their assigned crew and route. Does not own route schedule architecture, formal timesheet approvals, client contract commitments, or project pricing updates. Recommends training improvements or tool needs to the Field Supervisor but escalates official safety conflicts or missing scope directions immediately. Qualifications and Experience Proven landscape maintenance experience with a natural capability to lead, manage, and motivate a small field team. Strong understanding of professional landscape machinery , trimming protocols, and safety standards. Comfortable using digital mobile apps (specifically Aspire CRM or similar field software) for daily documentation. Bilingual capability (English/Spanish) is highly valued to comfortably translate instructions and keep crew production safe and respectful. Reliable attendance record and a valid driver's license with a clean driving abstract. Success Measures Assigned routes are completed safely on time, reducing property call-backs or missed service visits. Crew hours are logged cleanly and accurately inside the Aspire App by the daily cutoff. Equipment downtime and physical tool damage are significantly reduced via consistent daily inspections. Crew members demonstrate visible growth in their field speed, equipment handling, and safety routines. Key Working Relationships Reports directly to the Field Supervisor and Account Manager. Coordinates closely with Account Managers and shop mechanics when client adjustments or asset fixes are necessary. Work Environment and Physical Requirements Continuous outdoor physical field work including extensive walking, heavy lifting, bending, and operating high-powered hand tools across various seasonal weather conditions. Full personal protective equipment (PPE) adherence is required at all times.
