We proudly serve municipalities, commercial properties, resorts, and luxury residences that expect exceptional quality—and we hold ourselves to that same standard. We're seeking Seasonal Crew Leaders who are dependable, technically capable, and ready to take ownership of a crew and a job site. This is a hands-on leadership role responsible for installation quality, crew performance, vehicle and equipment readiness, and completing jobs on time and to standard. This position exists to ensure every installation we complete reflects the quality our clients expect and our reputation depends on. Crew Leaders report directly to the General Manager and are the on-site representative of The Lighting Company. When you're on a property, you are the company in the client's eyes. Primary Responsibilities Job Quality & Execution
Lead the installation, service, and takedown of holiday lighting and décor
Ensure every job meets our quality standards before leaving the site
Complete jobs on time and within the timeframes allotted
Read and follow job plans, layouts, and client specifications accurately
Troubleshoot lighting, timers, controllers, and electrical connections in the field
Inspect completed work and correct issues before they become client complaints Crew Leadership
Direct and supervise a crew of two to four team members on daily assignments
Set the pace, the standard, and the tone for the crew
Ensure professional crew behavior and appearance on every job site
Enforce safety practices, including ladder safety, lift operation, and electrical safety
Communicate clearly with the General Manager on job status, delays, and issues
Train and develop crew members in proper installation technique Vehicles & Equipment
Keep assigned vehicles stocked, clean, organized, and ready for the next job
Oversee loading and unloading of trucks and trailers at the start and end of each day
Account for all tools, equipment, and materials at the end of every shift
Report equipment damage, vehicle issues, and repair needs promptly
Safely operate—or become certified to operate—aerial lifts and forklifts Client Interaction
Represent the company professionally with clients, property managers, and the public
Communicate respectfully and clearly with clients on site
Escalate client concerns to the General Manager rather than resolving them independently What We're Looking For The ideal candidate is someone who:

Is mechanically inclined and comfortable troubleshooting in the field
Works efficiently without sacrificing quality
Communicates clearly and proactively with leadership

Takes pride in work that reflects well on the company Prior experience leading crews in construction, landscaping, electrical, roofing, lighting, or related trades is strongly preferred.
Experience with holiday lighting installation is a plus but not required—we will train the right person. Character, reliability, and work ethic matter more to us than a specific résumé. Want to work for a company with high standards and an outstanding reputation Schedule This is a seasonal position running from approximately September through January, covering holiday lighting installation and seasonal takedowns.
Our peak installation period runs from late September through late December. During this time, long hours, early starts, and six-day weeks are common, and flexibility is essential. Crew Leaders are required to work the Thanksgiving holiday and the day after Thanksgiving. These are among our most critical installation days of the entire season. Please do not apply if you are unable to work these days. Work is performed outdoors year-round in all conditions, including rain, wind, and cold weather. Installations proceed in adverse weather except when conditions are unsafe. Compensation
Competitive hourly pay based on experience, technical skill, and leadership ability

Priority consideration for returning seasonal work and permanent openings Employment Requirements Applicants must:
Be able to lift up to 75 pounds repeatedly throughout the day
Climb ladders and work at heights, including extension ladders and aerial lifts
Work outdoors in adverse conditions, including rain, wind, and cold temperatures
Work the Thanksgiving holiday and the day after Thanksgiving
Possess a valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record
Pass a pre-employment drug screening
Pass a criminal background check
