Crew Lead (Seawalls • Docks • Boat Lifts) Starting at $22.00 hour Duties and Responsibilities Lead field operations for over-water and shoreline work. Plan and execute daily activities. Read plans/specs. Lay out work and verify elevations/benchmarks. Direct pile driving (vertical/batter), templates, tie-backs/helicals, and sheet piling. Supervise form/rebar/cap work and concrete placement/finishing. Coordinate crane picks, rigging, and barge moves. Manage site logistics, materials, and vendors. Ensure QA/QC to contract requirements. Run daily Job Safety Assessments/tailgates. Enforce
OSHA/USCG
over-water safety (fall protection, PFDs, exclusion zones, lockout/tagout). Authorize stop-work when needed. Maintain a clean, compliant jobsite. Produce daily reports, timesheets, delivery tickets, photos, as-builts, and production tracking. Identify scope changes. Assist with RFIs and change pricing. Collaborate with the Project Manager on 2- to 3-week look-aheads, schedule, and cost control. Qualifications 5+ years heavy civil/marine experience with 2+ years in a lead/foreman role (seawalls, docks, piers, ramps). Strong blueprint/elevation reading (laser/level). Pile driving (vibro/impact) and template alignment. Form carpentry and concrete caps. Basic survey checks. Barge/crane coordination. Competent rigger/signalperson. Comfortable operating around cranes and on the water. Proficient with smartphones/tablets (daily logs/Procore or similar). Preferred Qualifications OSHA-30. First Aid/CPR.
NCCER/NCCCO
Signalperson-Rigger. TWIC. Small-boat handling preferred. Additional Requirements Valid driver's license. Able to work over water outdoors in all weather conditions in Florida Must be able to lift up to 75 pounds frequently Cover overtime/weekends/travel as needed.
