Job Description
Overview Join our dynamic landscape team as a Crew Leader, Landscape and take charge of transforming outdoor spaces into stunning, functional environments. In this energetic role, you will lead a crew of skilled landscapers to execute a variety of landscaping projects, including lawn care, hardscape installation,. Your leadership will ensure projects are completed efficiently, safely, and to the highest standards. This position offers an exciting opportunity to showcase your horticulture expertise and team management skills while working outdoors on diverse construction and landscaping projects. Responsibilities Lead and supervise a team of landscape crew members to complete lawn care, planting, hardscape installation, irrigation setup, and grounds maintenance tasks. Coordinate daily work schedules for construction projects, ensuring timely completion while maintaining quality standards. Operate grounds maintenance equipment and landscaping tools safely and effectively across various outdoor environments. Identify plants accurately to ensure proper care, pruning, and replacement as needed. Manage irrigation systems, troubleshoot issues, and perform routine maintenance to optimize water efficiency. Oversee crew safety protocols and ensure all work complies with safety regulations and company policies. Maintain detailed records of project progress, equipment usage, and materials inventory. Qualifications Proven experience in landscape maintenance, lawn care, gardening or horticulture with a strong understanding of landscaping techniques. Supervising or crew management experience in outdoor or construction settings. Knowledge of plant identification, tree care, hardscape installation, irrigation systems, and grounds maintenance equipment operation. Ability to operate company vehicles and construction equipment safely. Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a team effectively. Excellent communication skills for coordinating with team members and clients. Outdoor work experience in various weather conditions is essential; construction experience is a plus.
