The Service Delivery Manager (SDM / Landscape Crew Lead) assists with keeping the Service Delivery team on a challenging schedule during the growing seasons while gathering information for the potential rehabilitation and/or repair of stormwater wetlands, biofiltration systems, proprietary underground storage units, and drainage conveyance infrastructures utilizing Best Management Practices (BMP) for Stormwater Control Measures (SCM).
Specific duties include:
Assisting with leading a crew of watershed management technicians in maintaining and improving storm drainage systems to mitigate flooding and erosion Performing general environmental maintenance activities Operating landscaping equipment including weed eaters, blowers, mowers, shovels, chainsaws, etc. Disposing of sediment, trash and debris from stormwater systems Maintaining and improving storm drainage systems and ponds Identifying and documenting stormwater drainage issues needing repair Operating and maintaining company equipment which includes a pick-up truck & trailer Completing maintenance & inspection reports and tracking crew expenses Coordinating hotel arrangements for the team when overnight travel is required Attending brief but regular safety trainings Performing physical labor in a variety of weather conditions Regional travel 4-5 days per week (all travel expenses are covered by the company)
Basic Requirements:
Experience operating basic landscaping equipment Experience driving a truck and trailer Willing to travel regionally, overnight, 4-5 days per week (All travel expenses are covered by the Company) Comfortable with extensive physical labor in variety of weather conditions Background check, drug screening and motor vehicle report are part of the pre-employment process. Must maintain our Company's "No Jerk" culture Valid driver's license, insurability under the company's auto policy and ability to drive company vehicle are ongoing requirements in this position. This position is designated as safety-sensitive and involves operating DOT-regulated vehicles, which requires inclusion of marijuana in the drug testing panel. Ability to obtain and maintain a valid DOT Medical Certification throughout employment.
