Monday-Friday, with occasional overtime and weekend work as needed About the Position We are looking for a dependable, experienced Landscape Crew Leader to join our team. The Crew Leader will oversee daily landscape maintenance and installation work while leading a small crew and ensuring projects are completed safely, efficiently, and to a high standard. The ideal candidate is a hands-on leader who takes pride in quality work, knows how to operate landscaping equipment, and can motivate a team while maintaining a professional relationship with customers and coworkers. Responsibilities Lead and supervise a landscaping crew on daily jobs. Plan and organize daily tasks to keep crews productive and projects on schedule. Perform and oversee pruning, planting, mulching, cleanups, and other landscape maintenance tasks. Operate and maintain mowers, trimmers, blowers, hand tools, and other landscaping equipment. Ensure work is completed according to company standards and customer expectations. Train and coach crew members on proper work techniques and safe equipment operation. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe job site. Inspect equipment and report maintenance or repair needs. Communicate professionally with customers and management. Address basic customer questions and report concerns to management when necessary. Track materials, equipment, hours, and job progress. Follow all company safety procedures. Report property damage, injuries, equipment issues, or other job-site problems promptly. Assist with other landscaping duties as needed. Qualifications 2+ years of landscaping or grounds maintenance experience preferred but not required. Strong knowledge of basic landscape maintenance practices. Ability to safely operate commercial landscaping equipment. Valid driver's license with a good driving record preferred. Reliable transportation and dependable attendance. Ability to work independently and lead a crew effectively. Strong communication and problem-solving skills. Positive attitude and professional appearance. Willingness to work outdoors in heat, cold, rain, and other weather conditions. Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform physically demanding work throughout the day.
