Responsibilities Lead and supervise a crew responsible for lawn care, landscape maintenance, hardscaping projects, and groundskeeping tasks. Plan daily work schedules, assign tasks, and monitor progress to meet project deadlines and quality standards. Operate grounds maintenance equipment, landscaping tools, irrigation systems, and company vehicles safely and effectively. Oversee the installation and maintenance of irrigation systems, ensuring proper plant watering and system functioning. Identify various plants, trees, shrubs, and groundcover to ensure proper care and health of landscapes. Manage safety protocols on-site to maintain a secure working environment for all team members. Coordinate with clients or project managers to understand project scope and deliver outstanding results on time. Qualifications Proven experience in landscape maintenance, lawn care, hardscaping construction projects, or groundskeeping. Demonstrated supervising or team management experience in outdoor or landscaping settings. Strong knowledge of horticulture practices including plant identification, tree care, and gardening techniques. Skilled in operating landscaping equipment such as mowers, trimmers, irrigation tools, and hardscape machinery. Valid driver's license with experience operating company vehicles required; CDL preferred. Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a team effectively. Ability to perform outdoor work in various weather conditions with physical stamina for manual labor tasks.
