Job Description
Overview We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Installation Crew Leader to spearhead installation projects across commercial and industrial sites. This pivotal role involves leading a skilled team of installers, coordinating project activities, and ensuring all work is completed safely, efficiently, and to the highest quality standards. The ideal candidate will possess strong construction management skills, extensive site experience, and a passion for guiding teams to success. Duties Lead and supervise installation crews on-site, ensuring adherence to project plans, schedules, and safety protocols. Coordinate construction schedule activities using construction management software such as Primavera P6 and HeavyBid to optimize workflow and resource allocation. Review blueprints, technical drawings, and construction drawings to verify installation procedures align with project specifications. Manage subcontractors, suppliers, and internal teams to ensure timely delivery of materials and equipment. Conduct quality control inspections and oversee construction safety management in compliance with OSHA and federal safety regulations. Interpret technical drawings and technical specifications to guide team members through complex installation tasks. Maintain accurate documentation of project progress, safety reports, change orders, and daily logs using construction management tools like ProCore and Bluebeam. Qualifications Proven experience managing teams in a construction management role within commercial or heavy civil projects. Strong knowledge of construction site safety regulations including OSHA standards and federal safety protocols. Proficiency with construction management software such as Primavera P6, Primavera, Bluebeam, ProCore, HeavyBid, and other relevant tools. Ability to read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and technical specifications accurately. Demonstrated skills in project scheduling, budgeting, quality control, and managing construction schedules effectively. Hands-on experience with construction site activities including blueprint reading, construction drawing review, and technical troubleshooting. Excellent communication skills for supervising teams, managing client expectations, and coordinating with stakeholders. Valid certifications such as OSHA 10/30-hour training or higher are preferred; familiarity with Ohmmeter use for electrical testing is a plus.
