Overview We are seeking a dynamic and energetic Supervisor/Zamboni Driver to lead our ice rink operations and ensure a safe, smooth, and enjoyable experience for all guests. This pivotal role combines technical expertise in operating Zamboni machines—specialized vehicles used for ice resurfacing—with strong leadership skills to manage staff, coordinate events, and uphold high standards of guest service. Duties Needed closer and weekend availability Operate Zamboni machines efficiently to maintain optimal ice surface quality, ensuring safety and smoothness for skating and hockey activities Supervise and coordinate staff, providing clear direction during shifts to maximize productivity and guest satisfaction Oversee event setup, management, and breakdown at the venue, supporting various skating events, tournaments, and community programs Manage day-to-day operations including closing procedures, safety checks, and equipment maintenance Provide exceptional customer service by assisting guests with inquiries, resolving issues promptly, and ensuring a welcoming environment Maintain detailed reports on ice conditions, incident logs, staffing records, and event documentation using report writing skills Skills Proven leadership experience with staff supervision and team management in an operational or hospitality setting Excellent managerial communication skills to coordinate with staff, vendors, and guests effectively Experience in shift management, guest services, and customer relations to enhance visitor experience Ability to make sound managerial decisions quickly under pressure while maintaining safety standards Familiarity with operational management principles including budgeting, cash handling, and resource allocation Knowledge of health & safety protocols; first aid and CPR certification is preferred but not mandatory Previous assistant manager or supervisory experience in a similar venue or sports facility is highly desirable Join us as a Supervisor/Zamboni Driver to lead our ice rink operations with enthusiasm!
