Overview Join our dynamic landscape team as a Crew Leader, Landscape and lead the way in creating and maintaining beautiful outdoor environments! In this energetic role, you'll oversee landscape maintenance projects, supervise crew members, and ensure high-quality results across various outdoor spaces. Your leadership will inspire teamwork, promote safety, and deliver exceptional grounds care that transforms outdoor areas into vibrant, inviting landscapes. This is a paid position that offers an exciting opportunity to develop your skills in landscaping, horticulture, and team management while working on diverse projects in a fast-paced environment. Responsibilities Lead and supervise a crew of landscape technicians to execute lawn care, planting, pruning, irrigation, hardscape installation, and grounds maintenance tasks efficiently and safely Coordinate daily work schedules for construction projects and ongoing landscape maintenance assignments Ensure all work complies with safety standards and company policies, promoting a safe outdoor work environment Identify plants accurately to guide proper care and maintenance; troubleshoot issues related to plant health and pest management Operate grounds maintenance equipment, including mowers, trimmers, irrigation systems, and hardscape tools with skill and safety awareness Manage irrigation systems to optimize water use and ensure proper functioning across landscaped areas Maintain clear communication with team members and clients to meet project deadlines and quality expectations Requirements Proven experience in lawn care, landscape maintenance, or gardening with a strong understanding of horticulture principles Supervising or crew management experience in outdoor settings or landscaping projects Knowledge of plant identification, tree care, hardscape installation, irrigation management, and grounds equipment operation Ability to operate company vehicles safely and efficiently during project work Prior outdoor work experience demonstrating physical stamina and attention to detail in outdoor environments Construction experience is a plus; familiarity with construction projects is advantageous Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate team members and manage multiple tasks effectively Valid driver's license with a clean driving record; certification in grounds or landscape management is preferred This role offers an engaging environment where your expertise in landscaping combined with leadership skills will make a tangible impact on outdoor spaces. Pay:
