Overview Join our dynamic team as a Warehouse Shop Attendant and become an essential part of our fast-paced distribution environment! In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring smooth warehouse operations, handling materials efficiently, and maintaining a safe and organized workspace. Duties Operate various warehouse equipment including reach trucks, forklifts, cherry pickers, pallet jacks, to load, unload, move, and organize inventory safely and efficiently. Assist with order picking, packing, shipping, and receiving processes to ensure timely order fulfillment. Conduct inventory control activities using warehouse management systems (WMS) and inventory management software to track stock levels accurately. Handle materials with manual handling techniques while adhering to safety regulations such as OSHA standards and PPE use. Stock shelves and storage areas systematically, ensuring proper placement for easy access and inventory accuracy. Support warehouse distribution tasks by managing logistics operations, including load & unload procedures and order fulfillment. Maintain a clean, safe work environment by following safety protocol adherence, conducting routine safety checks, and reporting hazards promptly. Qualifications Proven experience in warehouse operations or distribution centers with hands-on knowledge of warehouse management systems (e.g., AS400). Certification or experience operating heavy equipment such as reach trucks, forklifts, cherry pickers, crane operation or pallet jacks is highly preferred. Strong understanding of inventory management practices and materials handling techniques. Ability to perform basic math calculations for inventory counts, measurements, and order processing. Familiarity with safety regulations including OSHA standards and proper PPE use in a warehouse setting. Excellent manual handling skills with the ability to lift heavy items safely during daily tasks. Previous experience in warehouse supervisor roles or leadership positions is a plus but not required. Pay:
$20.00 - $26.00 per hour Expected hours: 32.0 per week
