Summary:

Responsible for management of all plant operations at an assigned Metech Recycling facility. The operation includes processing of electronic equipment and materials by sorting, shredding, de-manufacturing, and baling to segregate and prepare scrap commodities as well as re-marketable assets for sale.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Management of operations related activities in accordance with established Metech Recycling processing protocols including, but not limited to: Management responsibility for all operations staff (permanent and temporary workers) at the assigned facility. Interviews, hires, terminates and evaluates all operations staff; may be assisted by the Assistant Operations Manager or Operations Supervisor. Assists with physical inventory operations. Maintain familiarity with all environmental, health, and safety regulations and nongovernmental standards applicable to the facility and monitor all activities to insure compliance. Supports and contributes to the maintenance of ISO Quality Management System and ISO Environmental Management System and related goals and objectives. Ensures that Metech quality assurance principals, procedures and objectives are incorporated, as necessary, to engender an attitude of continual improvement at the facility. Manages employee health and safety programs and insure compliance Manages of all plant maintenance activity; interface with all service, equipment, & supplies vendors Manages of all processing data input to central computer system; interface with customer service and Metech IT personnel as required Interfaces with Metech management and departments, as required, to ensure customers' materials processing requirements are met in a timely and cost-effective manner Continually develop subordinates through coaching and training in Metech policies and procedures. Develops new systems, methods, materials markets to run operation efficiently and competitively Upholds a polite and courteous demeanor with Metech personnel and customers. Actively uses and appropriately employs Metech Environmental, Health, Safety and Quality Management Systems to engender an attitude of and evidence of continual improvement at the facility, and to meet or exceed the R2 Standard, OHSAS 18001 and

ISO 14001

in relation to operational processes. Responsible for completing monthly facility checklists, safety committee meetings for the facility and any required follow up corrective action accompanied by appropriate meetings. Ensure that all staff adhere to Metech policies and procedures. Actively uses and appropriately employs Metech Environmental, Health, Safety, and Quality Management Systems to engender an attitude of and evidence of continual improvement at the facility, and to meet or exceed the R2 Standard, OHSAS 18001 and

ISO 14001

in relation to repair and refurbishment of electronic equipment. Responsible for completing monthly facility checklists, safety committee meetings for the ITAM department and any required follow up corrective action accompanied by appropriate meetings.

$50,000.00 - $60,000.00 per year
