Job Description
Job Summary Join our dynamic team at Tampa Bay Bottling as a Warehouse Supervisor, where you will lead and coordinate all aspects of warehouse operations to ensure efficient, safe, and accurate distribution center activities. Your energetic leadership will drive process improvements, optimize inventory control, and foster a collaborative environment. This role offers an exciting opportunity to oversee logistics, manage team performance, and uphold safety standards while maintaining high levels of productivity and customer satisfaction. Duties Supervise daily warehouse activities including shipping, receiving, inventory management, and material handling to ensure smooth operations. Lead and motivate warehouse staff, providing clear direction, training, and support to foster a high-performance team. Oversee the operation of warehouse management systems (WMS) and inventory management systems to maintain accuracy and efficiency. Coordinate the use of forklift and other material handling equipment safely and effectively for heavy lifting and movement of goods. Implement process improvements using lean management principles to streamline workflows, reduce waste, and enhance productivity. Ensure compliance with OSHA regulations and safety protocols across all warehouse activities. Manage logistics related to distribution center operations, including shipping & receiving schedules, inventory control, and order fulfillment. Conduct regular audits of inventory levels using RF scanners and other tools to prevent discrepancies and optimize stock accuracy. Collaborate with team members on continuous improvement initiatives to enhance warehouse operations and materials handling procedures. Skills Extensive experience in warehouse distribution, logistics, or supply chain management with a focus on process improvement. Proven track record in warehouse supervisor roles with strong team leadership capabilities. Proficiency in warehouse management systems (WMS), inventory management systems, RF scanners, and Microsoft Office Suite. Skilled in operating forklift and other heavy material handling equipment safely. Excellent managerial communication skills for effective team management and coordination with cross-functional departments. Knowledge of OSHA safety standards and best practices for warehouse safety compliance. Ability to manage inventory control processes accurately using inventory management techniques. Strong organizational skills with the ability to oversee multiple tasks within a fast-paced environment. Familiarity with lean management principles to optimize warehouse workflows and reduce waste.
