About the Opportunity JX Ventures is a growing e-commerce company that sells products across major online marketplaces. We're looking for a dependable, motivated person who wants more than simply another hourly job. This position starts with the fundamentals of our day-to-day operation: receiving merchandise, preparing and labeling products, organizing inventory, preparing shipments, and keeping the operation running efficiently. You'll initially work directly alongside the owner and learn how the business operates from the ground up. We're looking for someone who learns quickly, takes pride in their work, follows through on commitments, solves problems, and wants to earn greater responsibility. For the right person, this is intended to become a much larger role over time. As you learn the operation and demonstrate that you can work independently and make good decisions, you'll have the opportunity to take ownership of more of the day-to-day business while increasing your hours and responsibilities. Schedule & Growth The position begins with a hands-on training period of approximately 18 hours per week , consisting of three weekday shifts from 8:00 AM-2:00 PM . Once fully trained on the core operation, the regular schedule will increase to approximately 24 hours per week , generally consisting of weekday shifts from 9:00 AM-5:00 PM. As the business grows, we anticipate additional hours becoming available, with the potential for the position to expand to approximately 30-35+ hours per week along with increased responsibility. This opportunity is best suited for someone who is comfortable starting part-time but wants the opportunity to grow their hours and role over time. What You'll Learn & Do Receive, inspect, sort, and organize merchandise Prepare and label products for fulfillment Prepare and stage outbound shipments Maintain accurate, organized inventory Perform inventory counts and investigate discrepancies Use computers, shipping systems, and spreadsheets Identify problems and help develop solutions Independently manage daily operational tasks once trained Take on additional responsibilities as the business grows What Success Looks Like This is a small operation, so your work has a direct impact on the business. Once trained, you'll be expected to manage your workday without constant supervision, recognize when something doesn't look right, and take reasonable steps to solve problems before simply passing them along. We're looking for someone who will: Arrive on time and ready to work for every scheduled shift Learn a process thoroughly and eventually handle it independently Keep inventory and work areas organized Catch mistakes and discrepancies before they become larger problems Ask questions when necessary, but make an effort to find answers independently Speak up when you see a problem or a better way to do something Take responsibility when something goes wrong and help fix it Look for what needs to be done next rather than waiting for another assignment Work Environment & Physical Requirements This is an on-site, hands-on position in an e-commerce warehouse environment. The job involves standing and moving throughout the day, handling merchandise, organizing inventory, packing shipments, and performing other physical activities. Candidates must be comfortable performing routine physical tasks, and must be able to lift up to 50 pounds.
