Job Overview We are seeking a bilingual or Spanish-speaking Cold Storage Warehouse Associate to join our dynamic logistics team. This role is essential in managing the efficient operation of our temperature-controlled storage facility, ensuring the safe handling, stocking, and shipping of perishable goods. The ideal candidate will possess strong warehouse experience, technical proficiency with warehouse management systems, and a commitment to safety protocols. Responsibilities Operate heavy equipment such as reach trucks, forklifts, cherry pickers, and cranes to load, unload, and transport goods within the warehouse safely and efficiently. Perform inventory control activities including stock counting, cycle counts, and updating inventory management software. Handle materials manually and with material handling equipment while adhering to safety regulations and PPE use. Assist in order picking, packing, and shipping & receiving processes to fulfill customer orders accurately and promptly. Maintain proper documentation for shipments using warehouse management systems like AS400 or similar software. Ensure compliance with OSHA standards and safety protocols during all warehouse operations. Support warehouse management in supervising daily activities, ensuring smooth workflow and adherence to safety regulations. Conduct heavy lifting tasks as required while following manual handling best practices. Operate order picker and pallet jack equipment for efficient stock movement. Participate in warehouse organization efforts to optimize space utilization and operational efficiency. Skills Proven experience operating reach trucks, forklifts, cherry pickers, cranes, and other heavy equipment in a warehouse setting. Strong knowledge of warehouse distribution, logistics, inventory management, and warehouse operations. Familiarity with inventory management software (e.g., AS400) and warehouse management systems. Ability to perform basic math calculations accurately for inventory counting and order processing. Excellent understanding of safety regulations including OSHA standards; committed to PPE use and safe manual handling practices. Previous experience as a warehouse supervisor or in a supervisory role is preferred. Technical proficiency with material handling equipment operation such as pallet jacks and order pickers. Effective communication skills in both English and Spanish to facilitate clear teamwork and customer service. Knowledge of packaging procedures, order fulfillment processes, shipping & receiving protocols. Ability to adapt quickly in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
