In this role, you will lead dock workers and freight handlers while helping maintain efficient, safe, and organized dock operations. If you have forklift experience, LTL dock knowledge, and strong leadership skills, this is a great opportunity to join a growing team. What You'll Do As a Dock Supervisor, you will support daily dock operations and help ensure freight moves safely and efficiently through the terminal. Supervise and support freight handlers and dock workers Unload freight from incoming semi-trailers at the receiving dock Verify freight against manifests and match products to delivery locations Inspect freight for damage Enter shipment data into the warehouse computer system Load outbound freight into trailers using forklifts and/or hand loading Operate propane-powered sit-down forklifts and pallet jacks Maintain a clean and organized dock environment Remove broken pallets and sweep trailers when necessary Assist with projects and perform other duties as assigned This is a full-time position with a complete benefits package, including: Health Insurance with HSA and FSA Options Company Paid Life Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance 401(k) Retirement Plan Paid Time Off (PTO) Paid Holidays Employee Assistance Program (EAP)

Ideal candidates have:

Previous forklift experience Knowledge of warehouse and freight handling processes LTL dock experience preferred Strong interpersonal and teamwork skills Strong problem-solving and communication abilities Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment Reliable, self-motivated, and trustworthy work ethic

Additional Requirements:

Ability to read, write, and speak English Ability to pass a pre-employment drug test High School Diploma or GED Valid driver's license (non-CDL) Work Environment & Physical Requirements Dock Supervisors work in a warehouse and loading dock environment with concrete floors and loading docks on both sides of the facility. Employees operate equipment such as propane-powered sit-down forklifts, pallet jacks, handheld scanners, and warehouse computer systems to move and track freight. The environment is well-lit but includes exposure to warehouse noise and varying temperatures, which may drop to around 45°F depending on the season. The role requires regular movement and the ability to lift, carry, push, or pull up to 75 lbs, as well as a full range of motion necessary for warehouse tasks.
