Responsibilities Supervise daily warehouse activities, including shipping, receiving, inventory control, and materials handling to ensure operational excellence. Lead and motivate a team of warehouse associates, providing clear direction, coaching, and performance feedback to foster a high-performing work environment. Coordinate the operation of forklift and other material handling equipment safely and efficiently, adhering to OSHA standards. Implement process improvements using lean management principles to enhance workflow efficiency and reduce waste. Manage inventory using warehouse management systems (WMS) and inventory management systems to maintain accuracy and accountability. Oversee compliance with safety protocols, including OSHA regulations, ensuring a safe working environment for all team members. Collaborate with logistics partners to optimize distribution center operations and ensure timely shipping & receiving of goods. Requirements Proven experience in warehouse supervision or management within a distribution center environment. Strong knowledge of warehouse distribution processes, inventory control, logistics, and materials handling. Proficiency with warehouse management systems (WMS), inventory management systems, RF scanners, and Microsoft Office tools. Ability to operate or oversee the operation of forklift and other heavy lifting equipment safely. Excellent team management skills with the ability to communicate effectively at all levels of the organization. Demonstrated ability to lead process improvement initiatives using lean management techniques.
