Our client, a food distribution and logistics organization, is seeking a Distribution Coordinator to join their team. As a Distribution Coordinator, you will be part of the distribution operations team supporting daily warehouse and depot activities. The ideal candidate will bring strong attention to detail, clear communication, and a safety-first mindset, which will align successfully in the organization.

Shift:

4 - Rotating Shift (11:30 pm - 8:00 am) What's the Job? Direct and coordinate distribution facility activities, including verification of incoming and outgoing shipments, handling and disposition of merchandise, and maintaining warehouse inventory accuracy. Review bills of lading for incoming merchandise and customer orders to plan daily work activities and ensure orders are assembled correctly for delivery. Assign workers to specific duties such as verifying quantities, storing incoming merchandise, and assembling customer orders; load and unload trucks as needed. Maintain the facility by following cleaning standards and safety and food safety processes; report safety, food safety, and site security incidents and recommend improvements to the leader. Coordinate daily with cross-functional partners (customer service/planning, sales, transportation, outside carriers, plants, and finance) to address cuts, adjustments, credits, and other operational needs. What's Needed? High School diploma or GED equivalent. At least 1 year of related experience in a warehouse or depot environment. Ability to crosscheck and verify order accuracy and maintain organized, timely records (including timekeeping, expenses, inventory, food safety, and safety). Comfort working with daily documentation such as bills of lading and order printouts (including bin routes) and maintaining spreadsheets and databases as needed. Willingness to support operational coverage by filling in for site leader, coordinator, or senior coordinator as required. What's in it for me?
