Job Description

Logistics Team Lead Overview The Logistics Team Lead is responsible for overseeing and managing the logistics operations within an organization. This role includes supervising logistics staff, coordinating and optimizing the flow of goods, and ensuring that logistical processes are efficient and cost-effective.

Key Responsibilities Team Management:

Lead, mentor, and supervise the logistics team to ensure high performance and productivity.

Process Optimization:

Develop and implement strategies to optimize logistics processes and reduce costs.

Inventory Management:

Ensure accurate and timely tracking of inventory levels and coordinate inventory functions.

Reporting:

Generate and analyze logistics reports to monitor performance and identify areas for improvement.

Compliance:

Ensure that all logistics activities comply with relevant regulations and standards.

Communication:

Facilitate effective communication within the logistics team and with other departments.

Requirements Education:

High School degree or equivalent; Bachelor's degree in logistics, supply chain management, business administration, or a related field a plus.

Experience:

Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in logistics or supply chain management, with at least 1 year in a supervisory role.

Skills:

Strong leadership, analytical, and problem-solving skills. Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.

Technical Proficiency:

Proficient in logistics software and systems, with a good understanding of inventory management and supply chain principles.

Certifications:

Professional certification in logistics or supply chain management is a plus.
