Job Overview We are seeking a Fulfillment/Shipping/Receiving Working Lead for daily operations in our fulfillment facility. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in leading fulfillment and logistics, with the ability to be an effective working lead to a team of 1 to 4 part-time employees. This role is pivotal in ensuring efficient inventory management, process improvement, shipping and receiving, and adherence to safety standards. Duties Lead, coordinate, and execute warehouse activities, ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures. Manage inventory control processes, including receiving, storing, and shipping products. Implement process improvements to enhance operational efficiency and productivity within the warehouse. Oversee the use of warehouse management systems (WMS) to track inventory levels and manage orders effectively. Train and mentor warehouse staff on best practices in materials handling, safety protocols (OSHA compliance), and warehouse equipment operation. Ensure the team meets performance targets while maintaining high standards of quality in shipping & receiving processes. Collaborate with other departments to optimize logistics and streamline operations related to e-commerce fulfillment and walk-in transactions. Conduct regular inspections of the warehouse environment to ensure safety and compliance with regulations. Manage a collection of vintage aircraft parts. Role will include sorting and cataloging parts into our WMS system. Ability to adapt to developing tasks that arise within the operation. Requirements Proven experience in fulfillment management or as a fulfillment working lead, with a strong understanding of logistics operations while being in a working role. Familiarity with inventory management practices, including 3PL (third-party logistics) operations and fulfillment. Proficient in using warehouse management systems (WMS). Ability to perform heavy lifting and physical tasks associated with warehouse operations (up to 50lbs) Excellent team lead skills, with the ability to motivate and lead a diverse workforce while in a working role. Must be able to provide customer service when necessary to walk-in customers. Must have strong general computer skills with Microsoft Office products and be able to learn and adapt quickly to our software programs for our operations. Must be able to work in a semi-climate controlled warehouse. Must have basic math skills, strong organizational skills. Aviation background is a plus, but not required. Aviation enthusiasts are welcome. Knowledge of e-commerce fulfillment processes is a plus. Commitment to maintaining a safe working environment in compliance with OSHA standards.
