Weekend Schedule Options:
Three 12-hour shifts: Friday-Sunday, approximately 5:30 AM-6:00 PM Three 12-hour shifts plus
Monday:
Friday-Sunday, approximately 5:30 AM-6:00 PM, plus an additional 4-hour shift on Monday Start and end times may vary slightly depending on operational needs.
Pay:
$24.00-$25.00 per hour
Weekend Differential:
Additional $2.00 per hour on
Saturday and Sunday Bonus:
Eligible for potential quarterly bonus

Direct-hire Position Overview We are seeking an experienced Order Fulfillment Supervisor to oversee weekend production and fulfillment operations at our Shepherdsville, KY facility. This is a working supervisor position. The Weekend Order Fulfillment Supervisor will not only lead and supervise the team but will also be expected to work alongside employees and assist with daily warehouse and order fulfillment tasks as needed. This is a hands-on position and is not a desk-only supervisory role. This position will be the primary supervisor responsible for weekend operations and must be comfortable making decisions, addressing employee issues, enforcing company procedures, and communicating important information to the appropriate managers. The ideal candidate will be a confident, hands-on leader who leads by example, holds employees accountable, and is willing to jump in wherever needed to ensure daily goals are achieved. Responsibilities Serve as a working supervisor, actively assisting employees with picking, packing, order fulfillment, and other warehouse responsibilities as needed. Work alongside the Production team during high-volume periods, staffing shortages, or whenever additional support is needed to complete daily workload. Oversee weekend Production and Order Fulfillment operations and provide direct supervision to team members throughout the shift. Assign daily work, responsibilities, and tasks based on operational priorities and hold employees accountable for productivity, quality, and accuracy. Monitor daily pick/pack productivity, order accuracy, and on-time shipping performance. Communicate with all appropriate managers regarding inventory concerns, attendance issues, employee behavior, performance concerns, safety issues, and other situations that occur during weekend operations. Document and communicate weekend incidents and concerns clearly so weekday management has the information necessary for appropriate follow-up. Hold employees accountable for following all warehouse, production, attendance, safety, equipment, and company procedures. Take immediate corrective action when employees are not following established procedures and escalate serious or repeated issues to management as appropriate. Support the Operations Manager in maintaining department goals, including on-time shipping, order accuracy, productivity, and overall performance. Communicate staffing and labor needs to management to ensure appropriate weekend coverage. Ensure employees are properly trained and maintain required training documentation. Assist with employee coaching, corrective actions, one-on-one meetings, performance reviews, and employee development. Lead a team of approximately 14-25 Production employees while maintaining a professional, productive, and respectful work environment. Review operational data and identify opportunities to improve productivity, order accuracy, workflow, and labor or material costs. Monitor packaging material levels and communicate replenishment needs. Conduct team meetings to review performance, communicate operational updates, discuss concerns, and reinforce expectations. Coordinate with other departments regarding labor, inventory, resources, materials, and order-processing requirements. Assist with developing and maintaining client-specific packing requirements and documentation. Help establish and maintain 5S workplace organization and standards. Ensure Production employees understand and follow department policies, procedures, and operational guidelines. Ensure the daily End-of-Day (EOD) checklist is completed by the Production Lead or Supervisor. Participate in and supervise department projects related to assigned areas of responsibility. Promote a safe and healthy workplace and ensure employees follow all established safety procedures. Maintain flexibility when additional hours are necessary due to business or operational needs. Qualifications & Requirements Minimum of one year of supervisory or leadership experience. Experience leading approximately 14-25 employees in a warehouse, production, fulfillment, or similar environment. Must be willing and able towork alongside employees and perform hands-on warehouse and fulfillment duties throughout the shift. Must be comfortable independently supervising weekend operations and making decisions when other managers may not be onsite. Must be able tocoach, correct, and discipline employees and consistently enforce company policies and procedures. Must be comfortable addressing attendance, behavior, performance, safety, and policy violations directly with employees. Strong knowledge of order fulfillment operations, including picking, packing, shipping, productivity, inventory, and order accuracy. Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to clearly communicate weekend issues and incidents to management. Must be able to read, write, and speak English fluently. Intermediate proficiency with Microsoft Office, web-based systems, and job-specific software. Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills. Ability to identify problems, evaluate possible solutions, and take appropriate corrective action. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. Ability to build collaborative working relationships with employees, supervisors, and managers across departments. Excellent and dependable attendance is required. Education & Experience High School Diploma or GED required. Minimum of one year of supervisory experience required. Three years of warehouse, fulfillment, or 3PL industry experience preferred. Experience working with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) preferred.
Pay:
$24.00 - $26.00 per hour Expected hours: 36.0 - 40.0 per week
