Full Job Description Position Title:

Inventory Lead MMD Jersey City. We have an outstanding reputation for quality of products and customer service. We are proud to have been part of the first wave of legal cannabis in California and we continue to grow our holdings in a thriving recreational market. We are looking for an Inventory Lead to join our fun, collaborative, team oriented and fast paced working environment.

Position Title:

Inventory Lead Position Overview:

The Inventory Lead is responsible for the intake of inventory from vendors and receiving into our Blaze POS system. They need to ensure the accuracy of the order in terms of units, cost, quality and METRC compliance. This is a full time position, Monday - Friday as well as end of month inventory counts on the first of each month.

Primary Responsibilities:

Receive goods from vendor and set up in POS system to sell in store and on-line Verify delivered order accuracy against what was ordered via the On Order Log o If necessary, reach out to vendor to correct invoice/order if there are issues Count units, check quality and package/expiration dates, reject if needed (older than 3 months for flower, older than 5 months for all other categories). Ensure accuracy in METRC / Receive METRC into Blaze Print stickers and attach to product Update key details in the Blaze item set up (THC%, expiration date, etc) Make Display Cards for Flower and Concentrates Scan invoices to AP for payment Send photos of store at open on Monday/Friday to office to ensure Merchandising standards are being followed. Storage/Organization/Merchandising Maintain well organized back room, keep product batches separate, minimize loss of goods by ensuring best practices for stocking (FIFO) Maintain organized area for promo units and samples. Merchandising and stocking of sales floor.

General Responsibilities:

Greet all customers, in a professional, friendly manner. Ensure the store is well maintained, stocked, and clean at all times. Treat co-workers with respect and look for opportunities to help others without being asked. Lead by example with a positive attitude and great work ethic. Possess adequate product knowledge to assist customers in making purchasing decisions. Strong attention to detail, organized, and self-motivated. Show up to work on time in appropriate attire and compliant with appearance policies.

Physical Requirements:

Ability to communicate orally with customers, vendors, management, and coworkers is crucial. Regular use of email for communication is essential. The ability to remain in a stationary position roughly 50% of the time, as well as the ability to move about the office occasionally (accessing files/storage, office equipment, computers etc.), is required. Using a computer while sitting for extended periods is common. Must also be able to position self to maintain equipment, including under tables and desks. Occasional heavy lifting (40+ lbs.) may be expected during inventory counts. Otherwise, occasional exertion of 15-20 lbs. of force is normal.

Education, Experience, and Licensing Requirements:

General knowledge of Cannabis products and terms preferred. Computer literate Attention to detail and ability to multitask METRC experience preferred Blaze POS experience preferred
