Responsibilities Warehouse Supervisor The Warehouse Supervisor position is responsible for the efficient coordination of team members aiming to maintain the efficiency of receiving, storing, testing, inventory and shipping products in a continuous improvement-based environment, while also creating and maintaining a safe work environment. This is to be accomplished through directing and monitoring the activities of employees; effective leadership, coaching and development of individuals; and through building team dynamics targeting receiving, storing, testing, inventory and shipping techniques. The Warehouse Supervisor position is accountable for the efficient coordination of team members aiming to maintain the efficiency of receiving practices, material storage, onsite distribution and the delivery of performance results, through effective execution in directing and monitoring of all manufacturing warehouse functions and leading and developing team members: Supervises and monitors the activities of employees working in all Manufacturing Warehouse Areas
Ensures that behaviors, practices and the work environment support a safe workplace by enforcing safety and sanitation rules and principles
Ensures and monitors receiving, storage and distribution efficiency
Utilizes metrics/data to evaluate and improve Receiving, Storage and Distribution methods/standards
Inspects Receiving and Material Storage processes to detect defects or malfunctions
Develop and implements receiving, storing, inventory and distribution improvement plans
Plans and establishes work schedules, assignments, and production sequences to meet performance standards
Translates schedules to receiving, storing, and distribution requirements
Utilizes standard work processes to ensure repeatable performance
Monitors goals and levels to make sure they are consistent with performance standards
Confers with other supervisors to coordinate operations and activities within or between departments
Tracks employees' work performance and attendance to ensure performance metrics are met
