The Distribution Center Shift Leader is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day activities with regard to Safety, Quality, and adherence to policies in our combined 200,000 square-foot Distribution facilities in Lebanon, PA. We are a 95-year old company with a presence in PA for 50 years. Responsibilities:

• Manage a small crew in the safe and efficient execution of the picking, packing, and shipping schedule.
• Manage assembly, reconditioning, packaging, labeling, loading, and unloading operations as required.
• Ensure that all Company, Safety, and regulatory agency procedures are followed by all Company personnel, contractors, drivers, and visitors.
• Ensure that all paperwork is properly filled out.
• Communicate with the DC Manager thoroughly and regularly.
• Maintain high morale through personal discipline, setting an example for excellence, and fair and equal treatment of all team members.
• Make recommendations regarding staff levels, assignments, promotions, and (when required) disciplinary actions.
• Participate in the investigation of Quality issues and in the corrective actions generated by them.
• Maintain clean and organized facilities.
• Participate in the continuous improvement of all Department and Company operations.

Requirements:

• High School diploma or equivalent
• Ability to communicate fluently in English (reading, writing, and speaking)
• Extensive experience in Shipping, Receiving, and/or Warehouse duties, as outlined above
• Experience leading a team within a warehouse or production environment
• Sit-down and stand-up forklift operating experience and the ability to be certified
• Ability to be on your feet all day and to perform a wide variety of physical activities
