As our business continues to grow, we're looking for a dependable, organized, and hands-on Shipping Coordinator to join our team. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys both coordinating logistics and working on the warehouse floor preparing products for shipment. You'll play a critical role in ensuring our customers receive the right products accurately, safely, and on time. Key Responsibilities Coordinate all outbound shipments, including LTL, truckload, parcel, and customer-arranged freight. Physically prepare, package, wrap, and palletize products for shipment, ensuring all items are protected, labeled correctly, and meet customer and carrier requirements. Schedule pickups and deliveries while communicating effectively with customers, vendors, and freight carriers. Prepare and process shipping documentation, including bills of lading, packing slips, shipping labels, and other required paperwork. Verify orders for accuracy before shipment to ensure complete customer satisfaction. Work closely with production to prioritize orders and meet customer delivery deadlines. Track shipments and proactively resolve shipping or transportation issues. Maintain accurate shipping records and inventory transactions within our ERP system. Assist with receiving materials and incoming shipments as needed. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe shipping area. Continuously identify opportunities to improve shipping efficiency, accuracy, and customer service. Qualifications & Skills We're looking for someone who: Has excellent organizational and time management skills. Pays close attention to detail and takes pride in accurate work. Can manage multiple priorities with minimal supervision. Has strong communication and customer service skills. Is proficient with Microsoft Office, especially Excel, and comfortable working with ERP software. Has experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment (preferred). Has experience coordinating LTL and truckload freight (preferred). Demonstrates a positive attitude and team-first mentality. Is dependable, self-motivated, and willing to take ownership of responsibilities. Can safely lift up to 50 pounds and perform the physical duties associated with packaging, palletizing, and preparing shipments. Is comfortable standing, walking, bending, lifting, and moving materials throughout the workday in a manufacturing environment. Education & Experience High school diploma or equivalent required. Two or more years of experience in shipping, logistics, manufacturing coordination, or a related field preferred. Forklift experience is a plus, or willingness to become forklift certified.
