Responsible for the management of the warehouse/materials distribution department during the Overnight shift while ensuring a safe, secure, organized and efficient operation. In collaboration with multiple support departments, the supervisor is responsible for ensuring and maintaining an environment that provides for the efficient and effective flow of their respective departments.

This role will oversee the Overnight Shift - 7a-7p with rotating weekends.

Responsibilities:

Maintains day-to-day communications with department supervisors and managers.

Initiates communication and problem solving with regard to customer concernsAssists in recruiting new employees, administration of HR policies and procedures including safety, performance evaluations, employee training & development.

Train new hires & existing employees on all warehouse functions, including the enforcement of safety procedures in accordance with company policies & procedures.

Keeps management informed of all operational issuesPrioritize, schedule and delegates assignments to staff and monitors progressEnsure quality and productivity standards are being met by staffEnsure proper maintenance and usage of all equipment and suppliesCompiles weekly and monthly statistical data to be used by Manager for reportingManage budget and control expenses effectivelyAssists with staff payroll, site billing, and service enhancements.

Performs other duties as assignedSafeguards warehouse operations and contents by implementing and monitoring security procedures.

Ensures all laws and regulations are followed and employees have current necessary and required safety training for warehouse material handling, shipping and transportation.

Qualifications:

Minimum 7 years' experience working in a warehouse or distribution related field.

Minimum 5 years supervisory experience within a warehouse or distribution related field.

Must have GMP ExperienceAbility to prioritize and multitaskAbility to work well in teamsAbility to thrive in a fast-paced environmentExcellent written and verbal communication skillsForklift certification per OSHA standards preferredValid driver's license
