Position Summary The Inventory & Warehouse Coordinator is responsible for managing the daily receipt, organization, movement, and accuracy of parts and equipment inventory. This position supports vehicle builds and shop operations by receiving incoming shipments, maintaining inventory records, pulling and staging parts, preparing outgoing shipments, and keeping the warehouse and receiving areas organized, clean, and safe. The Inventory & Warehouse Coordinator is expected to maintain accurate inventory records, communicate effectively with purchasing and shop personnel, and follow all company procedures related to inventory control, safety, and warehouse operations.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Receive, inspect, and verify incoming shipments against purchase orders, packing slips, and other receiving documents. Identify and report damaged, incorrect, missing, or excess items. Label, organize, and store parts and equipment in their assigned warehouse locations. Maintain accurate inventory quantities, descriptions, and location records. Pull and stage parts and equipment according to build sheets, work orders, and project schedules. Confirm that required parts and equipment are available before vehicle builds begin. Pack and prepare parts and equipment for shipment, transfer, or customer pickup. Create shipping labels and coordinate shipments with carriers. Process inventory transfers, returns, and approved inventory adjustments. Perform regular cycle counts and assist with complete physical inventories. Investigate and help resolve inventory discrepancies. Monitor stock levels and notify management when commonly used parts or supplies need to be reordered. Maintain an organized, clean, and safe warehouse, receiving area, and inventory storage locations. Coordinate with purchasing, project management, technicians, and shop leadership regarding parts availability and inventory needs. Maintain accountability for tools, equipment, parts, and other company-owned inventory. Follow all company safety procedures, inventory-control policies, and warehouse procedures. Operate warehouse equipment safely and in accordance with company guidelines. Perform other warehouse, inventory, and operational duties as assigned.
Required Qualifications:
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. Ability to accurately count, label, locate, and track parts and equipment. Basic computer skills and the ability to learn and use inventory-management software. Ability to read and understand purchase orders, packing slips, work orders, build sheets, and shipping documents. Effective verbal and written communication skills. Dependable, punctual, and able to work independently. Ability to prioritize and complete tasks in a fast-paced shop and warehouse environment. Ability to follow written and verbal instructions. Ability to maintain accurate records and report discrepancies promptly. Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record, if required for the position.
Preferred Qualifications:
Previous experience in inventory control, shipping and receiving, warehouse operations, parts management, or a similar position. Experience using inventory-management, warehouse-management, or enterprise software. Company is currently using NetSuite. Experience with automotive parts, emergency-vehicle equipment, vehicle upfitting, or 12-volt components. Experience operating pallet jacks, carts, ladders, or similar warehouse equipment. Familiarity with cycle counts, physical inventories, inventory transfers, returns, and adjustments. Forklift Certified is a plus.
Physical and Work Environment Requirements:
Ability to stand, walk, bend, kneel, reach, and work on your feet throughout the workday. Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds safely. Ability to operate carts, pallet jacks, ladders, and other warehouse equipment. Ability to work in a warehouse, receiving area, automotive shop, and other operational environments. Ability to work around vehicle parts, tools, equipment, dust, noise, temperature changes, and other normal warehouse and shop conditions. Ability to use appropriate personal protective equipment and follow all applicable safety requirements.

Pay:
$20.00 - $25.00 per hour Expected hours: 40.0 per week
