This role is responsible for overseeing daily production activities, ensuring quality standards are met, and leading a team of manufacturing associates to achieve operational excellence. The Team Lead serves as the primary point of contact between production staff and management, implementing strategies to improve efficiency, safety, and productivity. Key Responsibilities Supervise and coordinate daily manufacturing operations and production schedules Lead, train, and develop a team of manufacturing associates, fostering a culture of continuous improvement Monitor production processes to ensure adherence to quality standards and specifications Implement and enforce safety protocols and procedures to maintain a safe working environment Identify operational inefficiencies and implement corrective actions Conduct regular team meetings to communicate goals, expectations, and performance feedback Track production metrics and prepare reports for management review Manage inventory levels and coordinate material requirements with appropriate departments Collaborate with maintenance, quality assurance, and other departments to resolve production issues Participate in continuous improvement initiatives and lean manufacturing activities Required Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent; Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Manufacturing, Industrial Technology, or related field preferred 3-5 years of experience in a manufacturing environment, with at least 1-2 years in a leadership or supervisory role Strong knowledge of manufacturing processes, quality control standards, and safety regulations Excellent leadership and communication skills with the ability to motivate and develop team members Proficiency in using manufacturing software, inventory management systems, and Microsoft Office Problem-solving skills with the ability to analyze situations and implement effective solutions Ability to work flexible hours, including overtime and weekends as required by production needs Physical ability to stand for extended periods and occasionally lift up to 50 pounds Preferred Qualifications Experience with lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement methodologies Certification in production management, quality assurance, or related field Experience working in a union environment Bilingual abilities (English/Spanish) to effectively communicate with diverse team members Previous experience with automated manufacturing systems and technology Work Environment This position operates primarily in a manufacturing facility environment with exposure to noise, dust, and varying temperatures. The role requires regular walking and standing throughout the production floor and occasional work in office settings for administrative tasks. #INDLOXO
