The Warehouse Supervisor must possess the desire and ability to provide leadership and supervisory coordination in all aspects of warehousing. As a member of the team, the Warehouse Supervisor will be a partner in the Supply Chain Division. The Supervisor's role is to maintain a high level of productivity and continuous improvement with their assigned shift in the areas of safety, reliability, order accuracy, cost savings, team building and personnel management.

$76,675.19-$115,012.78
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
(Other duties may be assigned) Provide leadership and supervision for the warehouse and associated personnel. Effectively motivate, train, and communicate with assigned teams to ensure superior levels of accuracy, safety, reliability, sanitation, and quality. Ensure individual and team performance meets or exceeds goals and expectations. Prepare and conduct team meetings as necessary for effective communication and development of teams. Develop expert knowledge of the warehouse processes and all associated equipment. Analyze and systematically troubleshoot warehousing issues, empowering the team to take initiative in resolving similar challenges. Perform daily checks and reports to ensure the highest order accuracy and quality of products shipped to Darigold's customers. Maintain shift performance and quality documentation. Lead and participate in project teams focused on improving efficiency, safety, quality, reliability, sanitation, and reducing waste. Reinforce a sense of urgency during periods of downtime and effectively communicate issues to the management team. Communicate and collaborate closely with other departments within Darigold's operations. Troubleshoot and reconcile inventory discrepancies in the Oracle ERP system, making necessary adjustments to maintain accurate inventory levels. Monitor and analyze inventory data within the ERP system to identify trends, discrepancies, and areas for improvement. Assist in training staff on best practices for inventory management and ERP system usage. Must be able to work variable hours and weekends. The schedule is Monday through Friday, with occasional weekend and off-shift hours as necessary.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
Ability to work with diverse groups of people with varying levels of education, expertise, and backgrounds. Proven ability to achieve results through others. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Demonstrated ability to work with minimal supervision; must be self-motivated and a self-starter. Proficient in Oracle ERP systems or similar inventory management software.
Education, Experience and Certifications:
A Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain, Operations or related field preferred. Industry experience would be considered in the absence of a degree. Dairy, Grocery, or Warehouse industry background is ideal Prior experience working in a 24/7 operations facility is a plus. At least 1-2 years experience supervising in a unionized environment is preferred.
