Terminal Operator (with CDL)

Job Description

Casper Terminal Center, a Midstream Energy Group company is seeking an individual who will be responsible for conducting rail loading operations and supporting truck loading operations. This individual will be successful by adhering to and embracing company safety procedures and training requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
Working with Operations staff to carry out daily plans and goals to achieve the scheduled loading objectives Supporting operations staff with the effective placement of tank cars based on written or verbal instructions Conducting tasks in accordance with terminal Operating Procedures to ensure complete loading of railcars and supervise the application of terminal procedures for truck loading/offloading Conducting crude oil loading of rail cars Being familiar with the safety, spill prevention and control and countermeasures plans and facility response plan requirements as well as other terminal compliance requirements Complete multiple forms and all paperwork/documentation related to rail and trucking activities Operate equipment as directed Safely operate an LPG tractor-trailer over short distances, as required Monitor product movement as directed to ensure consistent and safe product flow Record Operating data as directed such as quantity of product moved, readings, etc. Perform terminal inspections as directed including tank, pumps, valvesother equipment and instrumentation Test vibration and temperature as directed Provide minor repair and maintenance activities as directed Conduct snow removal, vegetation control, and general house keeping as required Subject to 24-hour call out including nights, weekends, and holidays Perform additional tasks as required
Education & Experience Requirements:
A current Class B CDL license (or higher) with Tanker and Hazmat (X) Endorsement is required A safe driving record High School Diploma or equivalent is preferred 1 year of experience in crude oil loading is preferred Ability to read and interpret company procedures, interface with a computer screen, and fill out appropriate documentation English language written and verbal competency Basic computer skills Must be able to meet DOT certification requirements
Physical Requirements & Work Environment:
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand or walk and use hands and arms to manipulate, grasp or reach Regularly lift and /or move up to 10 pounds, frequently lift and/or move 25 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds Frequently climb stairs and ladders, kneel stoop, sit and walk extensively Must have good hearing, vision, and physical and mental coordination This position will primarily work outside in all weather conditions Must be able to wear personal protective equipment, such as flame-retardant clothing, eye protection, ear protection, steel-toed boots, hard hat, breathing apparatus, etc. Thank you to all those who apply, however only those candidates of consideration will be contacted.
