Temp-to-Hire Job Order #: 139700 Position Overview Stand-By Personnel is seeking a dependable and hardworking Warehouse Associate to join a busy warehouse and customer service operation in the Springdale area. This position combines traditional warehouse responsibilities with customer-facing duties, including receiving, inventory organization, order fulfillment, shipping, cash handling, and credit card transactions. The ideal candidate is organized, reliable, comfortable performing physical warehouse work, and able to provide professional customer service. Candidates must be available to work Saturdays and be comfortable handling both warehouse and point-of-sale responsibilities. Required Experience & Skills Previous warehouse, retail, or customer service experience preferred Ability to accurately pick, pack, and prepare customer orders Comfortable handling cash and processing credit card transactions Strong customer service and communication skills Strong attention to detail and organizational abilities Ability to maintain accurate transaction and inventory records Reliable attendance and positive work ethic Ability to work independently and as part of a team Ability to work in a fast-paced warehouse environment Saturday availability required Must be authorized to work in the United States Must successfully complete required pre-employment screening Essential Duties & Responsibilities Receive, unload, and inspect incoming shipments Verify incoming products for quantity, accuracy, and condition Organize received merchandise in appropriate inventory locations Accurately pick customer orders according to order requirements Pack and prepare products for shipment or customer pickup Load and unload incoming and outgoing trucks Maintain accurate and organized inventory locations Assist with cycle counts and inventory audits Monitor stock levels and report inventory discrepancies Operate pallet jacks and other warehouse equipment safely Operate forklifts when properly trained and authorized Maintain clean, organized, and safe warehouse areas Follow all company warehouse and safety procedures Perform additional warehouse duties as assigned Customer Service & Transaction Responsibilities Assist customers with purchases and product inquiries Provide courteous and professional customer service Handle cash transactions accurately Process credit and debit card transactions Maintain accurate receipts and transaction records Answer basic customer questions and direct additional inquiries appropriately Help ensure customer orders are complete and accurate Maintain a professional attitude during all customer interactions Shipping & Receiving Responsibilities Receive and inspect incoming merchandise Compare incoming products against applicable order information Unload and organize received products Pick and prepare outgoing customer orders Package products appropriately for shipment Load outgoing orders safely and efficiently Maintain accurate shipping and receiving records Coordinate with team members to keep orders moving efficiently Inventory Responsibilities Maintain accurate and organized stock locations Assist with physical inventory counts and cycle counts Identify damaged, missing, or incorrectly stocked products Help research and resolve inventory discrepancies Maintain accurate product quantities and locations Support efficient movement of inventory throughout the warehouse Preferred Qualifications Previous Warehouse Associate experience Retail warehouse experience Shipping and receiving experience Order pulling and packing experience Cash-handling experience Credit card or point-of-sale transaction experience Customer service experience Inventory control experience Pallet jack experience Forklift operating experience Physical Requirements Ability to regularly lift and move up to 50 lbs Ability to stand and walk for extended periods throughout the shift Frequent bending, reaching, lifting, carrying, pushing, and pulling Ability to safely load and unload warehouse products Ability to safely operate warehouse equipment when trained and authorized Comfortable performing physically active warehouse duties throughout the workday Ability to work in warehouse conditions with varying temperatures Work Environment Combination of warehouse, inventory, shipping, and customer-facing responsibilities Regular interaction with customers, warehouse employees, merchandise, and material-handling equipment Physically active work involving frequent product movement and order fulfillment Position requires accurate handling of cash, credit card transactions, inventory, and customer orders Saturday work is required Team-oriented environment focused on customer service, accuracy, safety, and productivity Benefits Through Stand-By Personnel Weekly pay Health insurance Dental insurance Vision insurance Life insurance 401(k) Referral bonuses Opportunities for advancement Why You'll Want This Opportunity Full-time opportunity Pay based on experience Long-term temp-to-hire potential Weekly pay Combination of warehouse and customer service responsibilities Opportunity to build experience in shipping, receiving, inventory, and order fulfillment Gain additional retail and transaction-processing experience Forklift experience is a plus Excellent opportunity for dependable candidates looking to develop a broad warehouse and customer-service skill set Ready to Apply?
