Join the Rugged team that takes pride in making the customer experience a top priority and understands the importance of operational efficiency. We specialize in two-way communication products used in high noise environments such as racing, motocross, aviation, and emergency first responders. The Warehouse Associate supports the day-to-day operations by accurately picking, packing, assembling, and preparing orders for shipment. Responsibilities and Requirements Assist shipping and receiving by unloading trucks and checking in merchandise. Prepares orders; pulling retail product; packing boxes, and placing orders in delivery area. Strong focus on quality assurance, time, and project management. Understands and practices a mindset of a "Safety First" culture in the workplace. Promotes a clean work environment by keeping shelves, pallet area, and workstations neat and organized. Ability to learn and perform inventory cycle counts. Occasionally assists with the assembly of products, by following detailed instructions and quality specifications. Available Monday through Friday 8-5 with opportunities for occasional overtime and seasonal weekend shifts as dictated by the needs of the department. Work Environment You will be working in an active and engaging environment, which will require standing and or walking for prolonged periods. This job routinely uses warehouse equipment, such as carts, tape guns, box cutters, pallet jacks, forklifts, hand trucks, and various other forms of technology. Physical Demands The associate must regularly lift and/or move objects that weigh less than ten pounds, occasionally lift and/or move items that weigh between 11-20 pounds, and sometimes lift items that weigh between 21-50 pounds. Frequently required to stoop, kneel, crouch, and climb and reach with arms and hands. Education and Experience Requirements High diploma or equivalent Forklift certified, or willingness to obtain within the first 90 days of employment Previous experience with QuickBooks Inventory Management a plus, but not required
