Coffee Delivery Driver & Warehouse Associate Highwire Coffee Roasters - 3.0 Emeryville, CA Job Details Full-time $23 - $25 an hour 12 hours ago Benefits Paid training Mileage reimbursement Health insurance Paid time off Vision insurance 401(k) matching Employee discount Flexible schedule Qualifications Customer communication Full Job Description Coffee Delivery Driver & Warehouse Associate $23.00-$25.00 per hour to start, with growth potential up to $28.00 per hour Full-Time | Oakland and the East Bay Highwire Coffee Roasters is looking for a reliable, friendly Coffee Delivery Driver & Warehouse Associate to keep our cafés and wholesale customers stocked and supported. This is primarily a driving position: approximately 70% of your time will be spent making local deliveries throughout Oakland and the East Bay in a company vehicle. The remaining 30% will involve pulling orders, receiving and organizing inventory, restocking products, and helping with other warehouse and operations needs. You'll be one of the people our wholesale customers and café teams see regularly, so we're looking for someone who is professional, approachable, and genuinely enjoys working with people. The right person also notices what needs to be done, solves problems as they come up, and is willing to jump in when priorities change.
Schedule:
Full-time, Monday-Friday. Occasional early-morning, evening, or weekend work may be needed. Benefits Highwire pays 70% of eligible employees' medical and vision insurance premiums Employee discount Paid training Company vehicle provided for all work-related deliveries Opportunities to build experience in coffee, delivery operations, inventory, and wholesale service What You'll Do On the Road Load and deliver coffee, tea, merchandise, and supplies to Highwire cafés, wholesale customers, vendors, and other local partners. Complete deliveries accurately, safely, and on schedule. Build positive relationships with wholesale customers and represent Highwire professionally during every delivery. Communicate promptly about delays, order issues, customer requests, or other problems that come up on the road. Pick up products and return empty totes, crates, and other materials. Keep the company vehicle clean, organized, and ready for use. At the Warehouse and in Our Cafés Pull, prepare, and double-check orders before delivery. Receive, organize, count, and restock inventory. Help maintain clean, organized, and well-stocked warehouse and retail areas. Notice inventory needs or potential shortages and communicate them before they become problems. Assist with purchase orders, special requests, and other operational needs. Look for practical ways to improve delivery, fulfillment, and inventory processes. Jump in on additional warehouse, inventory, or café-support tasks when priorities shift. What We're Looking For A valid driver's license and the ability to meet Highwire's company driving requirements Confidence operating a company vehicle and making frequent local deliveries Strong interpersonal skills and a friendly, professional approach with customers and coworkers Good judgment and the ability to solve routine problems independently A proactive mindset—you notice what needs attention and take appropriate action Strong organization and attention to order accuracy Comfort using basic technology for routing, order management, and team communication Ability to repeatedly lift and carry up to 50 pounds and remain active throughout the workday Dependable attendance and the ability to manage a daily route with limited supervision Flexibility to help with changing operational needs Previous experience in delivery driving, route delivery, warehouse operations, order fulfillment, inventory, merchandising, retail, hospitality, or customer service is helpful but not required.
