- Volt is immediately hiring for General Laborers Santa Maria, CA.
As a General Laborer, you will: Work in a fresh produce processing facility handling fruits and vegetables. Package fresh produce according to company quality and production standards. Wash, sort, and prepare produce for processing and packaging. Monitor product moving along conveyor belts. Remove low-quality produce, foreign materials, branches, leaves, trash, and other debris from production lines. Inspect products to ensure quality standards are met. Maintain a clean and safe work environment. Follow all food safety, sanitation, and workplace safety procedures. Perform other general labor duties as assigned by supervisors.
The ideal candidate will have:
Previous manufacturing, production, warehouse, agricultural, or food processing experience is a plus but not required. Ability to stand, walk, bend, and perform repetitive tasks throughout the shift. Ability to work efficiently in a team environment. Strong attention to quality and food safety standards. Reliable transportation and dependable attendance. Ability to follow verbal and written instructions. Must be dependable, punctual, and flexible with scheduling. Ability to work a 12-hour shift. Ability to work a 7-day week; including holidays. Ability to work a rotating shift if necessary. This is a Full-time 1st
Shift Opportunity Pay Rate:
$18/hr,
- Pay range offered to a successful candidate will be based on several factors, including the candidate's education, work experience, work location, specific job duties, certifications, etc.
