Job Summary We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Warehouse Associate I to join our dynamic logistics team. In this role, you will be responsible for supporting daily warehouse operations, including inventory management, order fulfillment, shipping and receiving, and materials handling. Your proactive approach and adherence to safety protocols will ensure a smooth flow of goods and contribute to the overall efficiency of our distribution center. Responsibilities Operate various warehouse equipment such as reach trucks, forklifts, cherry pickers, pallet jacks, and order pickers to load, unload, stock, and organize inventory efficiently. Assist with inventory control by conducting regular cycle counts, updating inventory management software, and ensuring accurate stock levels using RF scanners and warehouse management systems. Support order picking and packing processes to fulfill customer orders accurately and promptly, utilizing manual handling techniques and safety PPE. Manage shipping and receiving activities by verifying inbound and outbound shipments, recording transactions in the warehouse management system (such as AS400), and ensuring proper labeling and documentation. Maintain a clean, safe work environment by adhering to OSHA regulations, safety protocols, and proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE). Collaborate with warehouse supervisors to optimize warehouse distribution processes, improve workflow efficiency, and implement best practices for materials handling. Assist with load & unload operations for heavy equipment or large shipments while following safety procedures for heavy lifting and material handling. Experience Previous experience working in a warehouse environment or distribution center is preferred but not required; on-the-job training will be provided. Familiarity with warehouse operations including inventory management software (e.g., AS400), RF scanners, forklift operation, and heavy equipment handling is highly desirable. Basic math skills for counting, measuring, and verifying quantities accurately. Demonstrated ability to follow safety regulations such as OSHA standards and safety protocol adherence during all warehouse activities. Experience with materials handling equipment operation such as reach trucks, cherry pickers, pallet jacks, or order pickers is a plus.
