Job Description
Job Overview Join our dynamic warehouse team as a Warehouse Sorter, where you will play a vital role in ensuring smooth and efficient distribution operations. This energetic position involves sorting, organizing, and handling a variety of materials and shipments to support our logistics network. You will work in a fast-paced environment that values accuracy, teamwork, and safety. Whether working indoors or outdoors, your efforts will directly contribute to timely deliveries and customer satisfaction. Responsibilities Sort incoming and outgoing shipments accurately using RF scanners and manual methods Load and unload materials with heavy lifting and proper manual handling techniques Operate material handling equipment such as forklifts and automatic inserting machines safely and efficiently Organize warehouse distribution areas to optimize space and workflow Process mail distribution, including mail sorting and mail processing tasks Maintain detailed records through data entry, filing, and inventory management systems like Microsoft Office Assist with shipment sorting, warehouse organization, and materials handling to ensure timely delivery Support warehouse operations by performing routine inspections, safety checks, and outdoor work as needed Experience Prior warehouse experience or familiarity with warehouse distribution processes preferred Experience operating forklifts or material handling equipment is highly desirable; certification is a plus Ability to perform heavy lifting regularly while maintaining safety standards Strong organizational skills with attention to detail for data entry, filing, and shipment processing Basic math skills for inventory counts, measurements, and shipment calculations Customer service experience or the ability to communicate effectively with team members and vendors Comfortable working outdoors in various weather conditions and standing for extended periods Join us as a Warehouse Sorter if you're motivated by fast-paced environments, enjoy physical activity, and want to be part of a team dedicated to excellence in logistics.
